Current StatusWe would like to reassure our customers that IMechE FIFE NDT will remain open to provide training, examination and Level III services during the current National Lockdown
Your safety is our highest concern and we have robust procedures in place that comply with UK government issued guidelines.

Please note that on arrival, and any time you are navigating our training centre, a face mask must be worn at all times. We do not require masks to be worn during classes where social distancing can be maintained.
Safety
The safety of our students and staff is of the utmost importance to all of us at IMechE FIFE NDT. We take this subject very seriously.
To ensure we provide the highest safety standards we have compiled a full set of Safety Guidelines we follow at our Training Centre for both staff and students. Click Here to see these guidelines.
We are continuously monitoring the Government Guidelines to ensure we are complying with these. They are checked on a regular basis. You can find these guidelines here.
People
To ensure we minimise the risk of Covid-19 at our training centre, we have limited the amount of staff we have on-site each day by adopting a ‘Work from Home’ policy where possible for our staff.
Hotels & Restaurants
We are in regular contact with local hotels to check they are taking bookings and providing food.
The current list of local hotels who are taking bookings are:
Premier Inn – Sheffield Arena – Restaurant open for breakfast and meals
Premier Inn – Meadowhall – Restaurant open for breakfast and meals
Travelodge – Meadowhall – Serving breakfast in the restaurant, need to book a slot on arrival
Jurys Inn – Sheffield centre – Breakfast bag to room
Ibis – Sheffield Arena – Breakfast bags – can eat in restaurant or in room
Best Western Plus – Quays – Restaurant open for breakfast and meals
